How apartment associations act as energy communities and how it is possible to fight with energy poverty by energy communities. Also, Home energy efficiency evaluation interactive tool is going to be introduced.

A brief overview of the project Smart Living and an interactive tool demonstration

Nele Ivask from Tartu Regional Energy Agency will tell us about energy communities in wider view and will talk about Estonian and Estonian-Latvian joint projects.

Krista Petersone from Green Liberty will tell us what energy communities are and what are most common forms of it in Latvia and some examples.

Andres Jaadla from The Estonian Union of Co-operative Housing Associations will tell us how apartment associations act as energy communities and how it is possible to fight with energy poverty by energy communities.

 

The webinar has been organized within the Interreg Estonian-Latvian cross-border program project “Smart Living”. The project objectives are aimed to promote the concept of Smart Living. The main goal of the project is to raise public awareness about environmentally friendly lifestyle and smart use of energy resources in Latvia and Estonia, combining knowledge and competence of organization in both countries. Project partners in Estonia is Tartu Region Energy Agency and in Latvia Green-Tech Cluster and Vidzeme Planning Region.
