With scientists warning that a 2\u00b0C increase could have catastrophic consequences, the DECA project (Delivering Effective Climate Actions) seeks to enhance climate change adaptation in eight European regions.<br \/>\nDECA will develop innovative policies and financing strategies to improve governance, fund new projects, and implement community-based adaptation plans. Key objectives include: 1) strengthening governance in climate adaptation, 2) financing necessary adaptation projects, 3) enhancing climate risk management with local authorities.<br \/>\nThe project will build capacity by providing training, improving data quality, and fostering collaboration. DECA will also support smarter funding approaches, creative partnerships, and robust investment planning. Ultimately, DECA will accelerate the public sector\u2019s ability to address climate risks and lead with stronger, more resilient adaptation strategies for communities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div
